PST files

🔷 PST files is a Microsoft property extension file.

It’s the file where Microsoft Outlook storage all the data, like emails, calendar events, contacts, etc.

🧠 When Is a .pst File Used?

  • When you’re using Outlook with POP3 accounts
  • When archiving old emails (manual or auto-archive)
  • When exporting Outlook data via:
    • File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Export to a file

This means that from now on, it’s possible to save the messages as a group. Before this improvement, when you used to save the emails, there was no way to save your configuration of group messages. Now the migration is easier.
